Born on the Edwards Airforce Base in California, Darius comes from a nomadic family of Engineers. He graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, Darius started his career at Dell where from 1988-1994 he was part of the design team for Dell’s first Pentium system and designed the first chip Dell ever made.

In 1995, Darius joined Glenn Henry in founding Centaur Technology, Inc. in a pursuit to create high performance, low-cost, x86 processors. Darius’s specialty is Logic Design, but he doesn’t limit himself to this area of the business, as he enjoys being a part of the various specialized functions at Centaur.

During his leisure time, Darius enjoys traveling, wine tasting and a good tennis game. He has been to over 15 Grand Slam Finals, and he’s not stopping there.
